Quality case with perfect finish, top-notch PCB, very progressive and musical controls, no doubt, we are at Flattley. It can be seen and heard! The controls couldn't be more classic: Gain, Volume and... Treble (K obliges). Finally, the pedal also acts as a buffer, your signal will appreciate it.

Connected with a semi-hollow on a pure clean channel, the first thing you notice is the noise level which is completely under control. The knobs can be used over the entire range (no oscillation or ear twisting), the right frequencies are there... It works and you can hear it from the first notes. "K-style" obliges, we will use this pedal as a boost, more than as an overdrive, even if we obtain a low gain / slight breakup of quality.
We give you the recipe that works, on a good clean channel, volume at 11:00, treble at 1:00 p.m., Gain at 11:00. With this, you have dynamics to wake up the neighborhood, a huge attack, a perfect voicing to get through the mix, and... and this is the most important, you thicken your sound! Unlike most K pedals which have a relatively slender and high-pitched voicing (very open, very high mids), the Centurion has more level and drive in reserve, more roundness and low mids, it is much more dense and FAT, FAT, FAT with a treble knob that can be used throughout the entire range. Where the KTR will boost the upper midrange, the Centurion plays on thickness and adds an additional sound texture, without the "stiff" side of the K-Style.
You can also use it on a crunch channel, or with an OD or distortion pedal. In this case, you once again gain thickness, fluidity, compression, all with a mammoth attack!

The Centurion OD is a great tool for working on your sound, where most boosts just add volume and gain, here you push your signal in every direction possible.
